Release notes
New
- Vulkan rendering: the game now runs on Mesa Zink over the RADV Vulkan driver (PS5_Vulkan by Mihawk). Whole frames go to the GPU at once: steady frame rate in 4K even in the heaviest fights.
- 4K by default. 1440p and 1080p are still available in Options, Video, Video modes.
- 120 FPS on 120 Hz displays: open Options, Video, Video modes and tick 120 Hz. It is off by default. The console must also allow 120 Hz output (Settings, Screen and Video, Video Output).
- Counter-Strike (your own
cstrikefolder): game code and menus built in, with team selection, buy menu (D-pad up), MOTD and a Change team button in the pause menu. - USB keyboard and mouse (or a wireless USB receiver): keys by position, mouse look, buttons and wheel, a cursor in the menus. QWERTY text by default, type
ps5_kb_layout frin the console for AZERTY. The DualSense keeps working at the same time. - Toggle crouch on Circle, with a checkbox in Options, Gamepad (on by default).
- New right-stick aim curve: one circular deadzone and a response curve, precise small moves and fast full turns. Idea and tuning from mpereiraesaa/ps5-xash3d-halflife, thank you.
- A notification tells you what to copy when the game files are missing.
Fixes
- The PS5 system keyboard could stay disabled after using an older build.
- No more crash when a file inside a
.pk3archive is opened.
Changed
- Quieter logs. Create
/data/xash_debug.txton the console for verbose output. - The previous run's log is kept as
/data/xash_log_previous.txt.

Safety
- Stays in the sandbox
- Built by the developer
The scan found no way for this app to reach beyond its own files: no payload, no connection to the payload loader, no request to a jailbreak service.
The developer built and uploaded this file by hand. Nothing ties it to the published source.
From an automatic scan of the release file, which is read and never run. It can miss things: it is not a guarantee. How the scan works
Install
Read the release notes and the project's documentation first. Some apps need extra setup, such as a payload, configuration or additional files, and the developer's instructions take precedence over the general steps below.
