SwanStationPS5 is a PlayStation 1 emulator. It is a fork of PSXS5 created by SynoPiia that runs all games using SwanStation core.

Fixed

  • Double frames stopped working when SwanStation's MSAA (or 24-bit colour) was on: every picture counted as a new frame of the game, so the game's own frame rate was never found. Repeated pictures are now told whatever the MSAA, the colour depth or the internal resolution.
  • Run-ahead is not run while Double frames is on. Its look-ahead frames are not the game's own, and they confused the frame counting. Your Run-ahead setting is kept and works again when Double frames is off.

Changed

  • The log no longer writes the Double frames lines (framegen: …): they are commented out until they are needed again.
